Crisis Response Team (CRT) is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to answer calls on the mental health crisis hotline and respond on-site to crisis situations in the community. The Center can provide immediate assessment, crisis intervention, counseling, linkage, referral, and follow-up services needed to promote
crisis resolution.

Peace River Center is a private, not-for-profit, community mental health organization providing behavioral health and substance abuse treatment, crisis services, as well as domestic and sexual violence services to the communities of Polk, Highlands, and Hardee Counties in Florida.

Accommodations for single men and women only. Beds allocated on first come/first serve basis subject to availability and number of stays utilized. Check-in time is 4:00pm Monday thru Sunday. Breakfast and dinner provided. Government issued photo I.D. required.
Free health clinic provides basic medical services to indigent individuals and families who are uninsured and without financial means. Prescriptions are also available on a limited basis. Patients are seen on a first come, first serve basis. Hours are: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:00am – 11:00am, Thursday 3:00pm – 6:00pm, Saturday 8:00am – 11:00am. Closed Friday, Sunday and Holidays.
Offers a limited selection of men’s, women’s, and children’s clothes which are available to the public during regular business hours. Inquire at Front Desk for additional details.
